Thank you for your interest in joining the Center for Brief
Therapy, P.C. & the Freeman International Institute Corp. The
Institute provides on site training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy
as credentialed by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy (
www.
academyofct.org).

In addition the Institute and Center conducts and supports
research in the Health Sciences and promotes opportunities for
individuals to author papers, chapters and scientific presentations
at national and international events when these opportunities
arise as individuals develop expertise in the field of CBT.  

Practice at the Center for Brief Therapy qualifies as experience
toward certification in Cognitive Behavior Therapy the ACT
Certification as a Cognitive Therapist.


We currently have an opening for a motivated, self directed,
independent fee-for-service practice individual:

Either one (1) of the following:

a) Full time or Part time Licensed Clinical Psychologist who either
has extensive training in Cognitive-Behavior Psychotherapy or
with interest in Certification in Cognitive Therapy.

A motivated, licensed psychotherapist that must have a minimum
of a Master's level license to practice in the State of Indiana.

OR

b) Masters Degree in one of the Mental Health Professions who is
already licensed in the State of Indiana as a Mental Health
Professional (such as LMFT, Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse,
Master's Degree Social Worker with ACSW preferred, etc.)

Note: This is a FEE-FOR-SERVICE Practice.  

Individuals who have an interest in becoming certified in
Cognitive Therapy will be supervised by Dr. Sharon Freeman to
meet criteria for certification by the
Academy of Cognitive
Therapy.

Positions are Non-salaried. Benefits include staff support for
scheduling, reception and insurance filing, access to our long
term, sickness and injury insurance program and training in CBT.
Our office provides full support for our therapists.  That includes
exceptionally friendly staff that schedule your appointments,
check your patients in and out, file your insurance for your and
follow up, manage your credentialing information and help with
other details as needed so you can focus on seeing your patients
without interruption. We provide supplies and spacious offices.
